Kobe's illuminations turned on

KOBE, Japan - Kobe's luminary art, erected in remembrance of the victims of the 1995 killer earthquake that devastated the western port city, is turned on Dec. 12 for an annual event that will last until the Christmas Day. The art is made up of 21 arches decorated with 230,000 electric bulbs.

Kintai-kyo Bridge
